My snakes will soon be migrating “down.” I have the thermostats set really low in the house this year, and I think it will be too cold for them. With the furnace downstairs, the basement has always come out relatively warm compared to upstairs, so for their health I think I’ll put them downstairs.
Everyone still will have heatpads and lamps, but an ambient room temperature will definitely help. I need to stop someplace soon though and get timers for the lamps so I don’t accidentally leave them on overnight.
edit (Thursday): “needed” items removed, because I got them. Hydrox went downstairs around 10 last night. Strangles will probably go downstairs sometime today.

Ive been using this product, RemoteCalendars for a year or so now, because it gives me the ability to import my Google Calendar into Outlook. this is extremely useful to me, because I’ve been using the web-app since it came out.
I’ve had this awful issue that I haven’t been able to resolve for 2 months now, where the toolbar buttons won’t appear. I had a workaround, but that stopped going about a month ago. The developers? Not answering bug issues, not posting on the forums. nothing. And I’m not the only one seeing this.
I already canceled my data plan on the phone, and this is really the last straw. I need a device with reliable connectivity and I’m not getting it. I’m also still seeing battery charge issues
I swapped over to my Nokia 3120, which is a nice phone, but really is barebones. No extra features at all. I had to put this swap off for a week while I waited for a data cable to arrive so I could easily copy my phonebook over.

I’ve had this tree for probably 15 years by this point, and I’ve kept it at work for the last 6. This is probably the extent of the Christmas decorating I’ll be doing this year. The cats don’t care, and I really don’t get any visitors, so why bother?

Anyone else out there who is looking for a cheap case for their W370/W380, I’ve found one. When Nintendo released their Gameboy Advance Micro, they also released these “sox” for them. A small slipcase for the device. Ive been using one for mine since I got it. They come in packs of 3. Since the Micro didnt do that swimmingly (and who can blame them… why release it when you’re also releasing other products with the same functions… at the same time?) the accessories are coming out to be dirt cheap. You can get the pack of sox for as little as $3 shipped if you look around for them
For someone who hates belt-clips for phones, I’m rather happy with this solution. Ive got something to keep the phone from getting dinged up, and it keeps it off my belt.

Fucking idiots. Look at this BS

“Someone asked if anybody knew how to tie a noose and Travis did admit he knew how to tie a noose,” Kim Grigsby said.Travis’ mom said her son is almost an Eagle Scout, he knew how to tie it, but told his friends he wouldn’t because you could get in trouble for that. Later, a black student on the drum line told the teacher he was offended.
“Travis was accused of using a racial slur for saying the word ‘noose.’ Then he was suspended for 10 days,” Kim said.

There is a HUGE update to this post: I got the recipe. Click here
I was in CT for Thanksgiving, and to suppress my boredom I spent 3 hours driving around the general Hartford area looking for something to do. Since I don’t drink at bars, I don’t club, and don’t really have the spare $ to shop, I don’t know exactly what I was looking for
While the Silas Deane and Manchester area yielded no results, I found what I was looking for on the Berlin Turnpike.
There seems to be a lone Outback Steakhouse there which still has Toowoomba Pasta. My favorite meal of all-time.

Have you ever watched a TV show, and remember the exact point you started watching? I’ve downloaded and have been watching MacGyver since the beginning. I finally hit the episode that got me hooked, called The Prometheus Syndrome in the 7th season.
There was another episode that I THOUGHT might have been the first I’d seen, called Countdown which turned out to be from the first season (and incidentally, my favorite episode of the series). USA Networks used to mix them up a bit, so I’m sure I saw them within a week of each other. Thinking back, I’m positive that Prometheus was the first.
