2009 Corolla and Matrix roll out at SEMA in Las Vegas

Toyota rolled out the new 2009 Corolla and Matrix this week at SEMA. Looks like a very nice car. Its much sleeker than the current generation of the Matrix and they’re offering some OK engine models

The Matrix offers Base, S, and XRS models, with the same engine options — a 132-horspower 1.8-liter four or the 2.4-liter engine.

Mine is an XR model, so I would guess its been phased out for this base S.

The rear side windows seem to have gotten smaller, but thats not too big of a problem. Whats nice is all models will have bluetooth capability and an aux port to plug in any kind of wired devices you may want to use, like an iPod or a zune.

Toyota’s full specs can be found here. Wired Magazine also published a bunch of photos today showing the new Matrix and Corolla models.
