Cingular 8125 not charging. Yuck
Well, this is rather unfortunate. My Cingular 8125 is on its last legs. I had an issue today with it powering off and not charging. It was briefly charging tonight, but its on the fritz again. People who know me know I thoroughly despise having a cell phone. I dislike the contracts, I dislike the bulk, and generally I despise being that accessible.
Right now if I could I would dump it and just get a TracFone for the car. Actually, I have one. A nice little w370 that I got for free after rebate. Its just, unfortunately, I’m still under contract until August, and I also need something for work so they can page me.
Ive got a nice little Nokia 3120 that I might move the sim card to. I got it for the girlie and unlocked it so she wouldn’t be without a cell when on vacation to Scotland. Now its just gathering dust, buts basically only be used for about an hour total. If I need to have something, I want it to have a keyboard, a no-go on this bricky Nokia. Looks like I’m sunk
Another reason Cingular sucks
I actually really enjoy Verizon. It works great wherever I am and they give me a new phone ever two years for free if I renew the contract. I only wish they offered less minutes.. The lowest plan I could get was 450 minutes for $39.95 and I don’t even come close to that with the IN calling and free nights and weekends.. plus it barely works out in the boonies where I moved.. had to get an evil landline
I had to dump Verizon because I got basically no service at home. Stupid mountains blocked the signal
yah that’s why its not so hot at our condo, we’re sort of down in a valley a bit. Damn its beautiful, at least I can get DSL
