Retailers plot to get your tax rebate check

I know where mine is going: the gas tank. Sorry, I’d love to splurge and buy something for myself, but I need to put it into my gas tank if I still want to be able to afford to get to work.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The government’s tax rebate stimulus is weeks away from your mailbox. But retailers worried about a consumer slowdown are already planning several ways for you to spend that windfall in their stores.
I keep hearing a billion different things about this stimulus package. Last person told me if you have ANY student loans that are federal it goes directly to that, you just get a notification. Apparently due to all the questions the IRS is sending something to us in the mail to let us know A. if we are eligible for it and B. how much we get.
I haven’t found any solid facts about it yet to get my hopes up. I never expect this country to give the average person anything.. stupid BUSH
I have student loans and I got my George Bush $$$ today.
Given the way the government acts, I’m sure I’ll receive the FAQ in about two months.
