<description>I got a flyer "buy 5 books for $1, and get a free sixth book or this stupid looking pewter dragon"

I was gonna throw it away, then decided I'd use the catalog code and float through the website. Hello hardcover editions of Snow Crash!

I think i need to buy like 2 or 4 more books in 2 years. getting my hands on this many, in this manner, makes it 100% worth it.

Also, its to add to my collection, and because I tend to use extra copies that do not have significant value (editions i already have, interesting notes, etc), to pollute the minds of those who have not read it before.

Theres still a "post" i've had in draft mode for nearly 8 years about my feelings regarding the actual nature of the novel. Actually, the first idea of it I passed by Brad in the new library at Marist, while chatting about Everything2 and my lack of decent article submissions. Ive never been happy with how it comes out, so it just gets rewritten and scrawled into a moleskin, then shelved until i reread the book and revise what Ive come up with.

My collection has two visually identical copies, one I was gonna toss years ago, until I read the inscription. Its proof outside this friend circle of mine that its not a local phenomenon.
