What kind of university offers a PhD in horribleness?

Super Douchey Moment today

I think the way to combat these terribly embarassing moments correctly is to post them publicly and hopefully I’ll desensitize myself to them.  Its not working so far, but….

I’m a HUGE fan of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.  Mike introduced it to us at Sci-Fi Night about 6 weeks ago or so, and I can’t get enough of it.  To me, its the new Cannibal the Musical.

During a slow time on Paltalk today, I put it on the Zune and watched it.  I might have a tendency to sing along.  And apparently, I forgot to turn my camera off.

Being asked out of the blue “Are you recording something, or are you talking to yourself?” isn’t a good sign.  Apparently I’m rather gesturely animated when I sing along to a 21st century geek-themed musical.  However, I think I did procure a convert.  She bookmarked it, so hopefully she’ll get as much joy as I do from it.

Anyway: Ugh.

I still contend this is one of the best things I’ve seen in years, and as soon as it comes out it will be the first DVD I’ve bought since early 2006.  I can’t say enough good things about it.  Joss did a great job.

It was on iTunes for free for a while, but was re-released on Hulu for a while until they can secure a good DVD release.  I’ll urge you to check it out now, and to get the DVD once it comes out.
