maybe I’ve lived in expensive resort town too much but for being on a beach that’s damn cheap!!
anything near the ski area here is around $775,000 to start, unless you want a condo for $400,000

hence why I moved out to the lake

Trevelyn- I absolutely loved that show and will miss it forever…- i do feel the same… I have seen the whole show 4-5 times, and still can laugh…
I hope they R coming back..
BTW somebody read somewhere that the new series R coming out in Sep/Oct.(late summer)

Spotting satellites is something I love to do, because it never happens on purpose. I usually seem to look up at the right time, and make a score. What I’ve wanted to do for years is watch for Iridium Flares.

Very cool. I’ve actually spent a couple of nights in the last two weeks sitting on our deck with binoculars enjoying the night skies. Got to see a half dozen meteors and a half dozen satellites each night. If you are going to get into watching the skies you may want to check out http://www.heavens-above.com/, which is a pretty good source of tables and charts.

my dad LOVED to go to the fair in Saratoga for the tractor pull! Face it, we love the boonies
then again, here in Colorado we have cattle drives.. imagine drive 65 MPH to work and having to stop and roll slowly through a herd of cattle

Not everyone notices, believe me. I sat and talked with someone at the XM studios, who I’ve known online for over a year now, and it never clicked with him whatsoever who I was.

They refer to me as “gambit” or “gamby” where as, people from everyplace else online abbreviate and use “g32″ He didnt make the connection until that night.

“Oh crap. That was you? hahaha, I didn’t realize.”

I got a handful of messages from various online people. Posts here get imported over to Twitter and Facebook, and a few of them seemed perturbed I occasionally don a hat with an abbreviation of my online nickname.
